Avigna.AI in Pune, Baner, is seeking a Backend Developer (Python) to join our engineering team. This role focuses on designing scalable backend systems, building RESTful APIs and microservices, and collaborating across functions in an AI-forward environment.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of Python backend experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and a strong grasp of databases, version control, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Python backend development.

• Design and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong DB skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Work with an AI-first mindset, actively identifying opportunities to integrate AI into processes, workflows, and solution design.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
