We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core and Azure cloud technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications while following modern software engineering best practices. Experience in the Insurance domain is mandatory.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core.
Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop data access layers using Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
Implement clean architecture using CQRS and Repository design patterns.
Write and maintain unit tests using NUnit.
Develop cloud-native applications leveraging Azure services.
Optimize database performance and manage Azure SQL environments.
Implement secure storage solutions using Azure Blob Storage.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams for seamless integration.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues.
6 years of backend development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Core (latest versions preferred).
Expertise in REST API development and Microservices.
Strong experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL.
Experience implementing CQRS and Repository Design Pattern.
Hands-on experience with Unit Testing using NUnit.
Strong knowledge of Azure services including:
Azure Functions
Azure App Services
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
Azure SQL Database
Azure Blob Storage
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
Experience with Git and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Mandatory experience in the Insurance domain.
Experience in the Life Insurance domain.
Exposure to insurance platforms such as CoreSuite (Sapiens), LifeNet, or HomeOffice.
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
Knowledge of API security, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
Azure or .NET certifications are an advantage.
