Backend Developer

Job Profile

We are looking for a Backend Developer who has a passion for building reliable, low cost, high performance backend systems. You will be modeling, creating and managing databases, writing lambda and step functions, building APIs and helping automate testing. You will be working with our Front End and Product teams to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and business requirements.
• Design, create and manage databases.
• Write lambda functions.
• Integrating with marketplaces.
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and helping automate tests.
• Maintain SLAs and ensure our systems are operating to specification.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years experience as a Node.js developer.
• Experience on integration with marketplaces APIs.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Have worked on databases and written optimized queries.
• Have performed on or load testing on API.
• Familiar with AWS SQS, lambda functions, API gateway.
• Docker experience is a plus.
• Curious and enjoys learning new technologies.

Location: Hybrid (WFH – India, Office Visits once a week)
