Job description

We’re looking for a Java Backend Developer with 2–5 years of experience to build and maintain scalable backend systems. You’ll work with a collaborative team to design APIs, optimize performance, and ensure reliability. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (and related frameworks).

Build and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

Optimize database queries and backend performance.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.

Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging backend technologies.

Nice to Have Skills

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes .

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to front-end frameworks (basic understanding).

Must Have Skills

Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher) .

Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework .

Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture .

Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Experience writing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
