Job summary

Duruper is seeking a Backend Engineer to architect and optimize server-side applications and APIs powering scalable, secure systems in Bengaluru.

You will design and maintain services, collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps, and drive reliability with monitoring, tests, and CI/CD. The role requires 5–8 years of experience, strong knowledge of databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks (Node.js, Java, Python, Go, .NET, etc.).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and working knowledge of GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of system design principles, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of application security, data protection, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
