Job summary

Emergent in Bengaluru seeks an experienced backend engineer to build scalable services using Python and Go. You will design APIs, optimize distributed systems, and collaborate with ML, Infra, and Frontend teams to ship features end-to-end.

You will review code, participate in design discussions, and help shape architecture while handling high traffic and cloud-native deployments. Prior experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and container ecosystems is valued.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of backend or systems development experience.
• Proficient in Python and/or Go.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, or cloud-native apps.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD workflows, and monitoring tools.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
