Job summary

Trident Tech Lab is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance Java backend services and APIs for banking platforms in a cloud-native, microservices setup.

You will develop RESTful APIs with Spring Boot, contribute to architecture, and implement tests with TDD in an Agile environment. Prioritize security per OWASP and work across teams to deliver reliable backend systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in designing and building Java backend services and APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture, cloud-native solutions, and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
• Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and documentation.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; practice TDD.
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability.
