Project Management Consultant Services for the Project for Climate Change Response and Ecosystem Services Enhancement in Rajasthan (CRESEP)

Ginger SOFRECO is looking for experts to constitute its Project Management Consultant team to support the Project for Climate Change Response and Ecosystem Services Enhancement in Rajasthan (CRESEP), implemented by the Government of India and financed through a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

CRESEP is an 8-year project aimed at addressing climate change and enhancing ecosystem services through afforestation, forest conservation, biodiversity conservation, eco-restoration, livelihood improvement activities, and institutional strengthening. The project seeks to contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic development of Rajasthan.

• Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, with some field visits
• Expected Start Date: May 2025
• Contract Type: Consultancy (part-time)
• Preference: Local profiles based in Jaipur will be valued.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the PMU in managing and reviewing MIS and project accounting system.
• Conduct all data input and preparatory physical and financial reports.
• Support the PMU in processing and analyzing the progress data and information required for review and appropriate decision-making.
• Support the PMU in the compilation of periodical M&E reports.
• Work in collaboration with Monitoring and Evaluation and GIS/RS Experts for effective monitoring.
• Prepare draft training programmes for PMU/CMUs/DMUs/RMUs related to MIS and M&E.
• Support the PMU in the training programmes on MIS and M&E.
• Attend to any other tasks reasonably allocated by the Team Leader.

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in Management Information System (MIS).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in system development.
