Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a highly skilled Azure Security Engineer in India to lead security posture assessments using Defender for Cloud and XDR, aligning with HIPAA, GDPR, and FEDRAMP standards. You will implement remediation, drive secure architecture across IAM, ITM, and TVM, and present findings to clients.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure Policy, Security Center, Log Analytics, and KQL, plus strong communication and client-facing skills. SC-100 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Azure security engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Defender for Cloud and XDR.
• SC-100 Security Architect concepts; certs preferred.
• Experience with Azure Policy, Security Center, Log Analytics, and KQL.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, FEDRAMP.
• Ability to interpret Secure Score, Regulatory Compliance, and Threat Intelligence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client-facing skills.

Highly skilled Azure Security Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft XDR, and SC-100-level security architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security posture assessments across client environments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation strategies aligned with industry standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FEDRAMP.
