Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced cloud integration engineer to build and optimize the Azure API Management-based Internal API Platform and the Enterprise Context Gateway. You will design IaC and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensure security-by-design, and enable scalable access to enterprise data and MCP services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management and IaC using ARM templates and Bicep within Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of security-by-design principles, secure API development, and cloud compliance requirements.
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn, take ownership, and participate in 24/7 standby/on-call support duties.
• Ability to work fluently and effectively within an English-speaking team environment.
• Experience enabling and implementing Agentic AI solutions using MCP.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize the Azure API Management (APIM)-based Internal API Platform.
• Design and develop the Enterprise Context Gateway for secure, governed AI agent integration.
• Develop and improve IaC solutions and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure platform security, reliability, scalability, resilience, and high availability.
• Support the bank's transition to an AI-native architecture by enabling access to enterprise data, tools, and MCP services.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to improve the integration ecosystem.
• Create and maintain developer self-service tools to improve platform adoption and developer experience.
• Implement automated and compliant deployment processes aligned with enterprise standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance and operational stability.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call/standby rotation to ensure availability of mission-critical services and platforms.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience: 8 to 20 years relevant experience.
