Job summary

Tiger Analytics, a global AI and analytics firm, seeks an Azure Architect with 3–8 years of cloud experience to design scalable Azure solutions. You will implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub. Strong emphasis on security, performance, and documentation within a global delivery context.

Ideal candidates hold AZ-305 or equivalent and will drive project enablement and architectural design across diverse client engagements.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in a technical role with a focus on cloud technologies, including at least 3 years on Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to design complex cloud architectures.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Provisioning: Design and implement scalable Azure environments usingInfrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Develop repeatable andreliable provisioning processes to meet project and operational requirements.
• Project Enablement: Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and enablesuccessful deployment and management of Azure resources. Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure that project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
• Architectural Design: Work with architects and engineering teams to design complex Azuresolutions that align with best practices and industry standards. Review and validatearchitectural designs for new projects and ensure seamless integration with existingsystems.
• Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain automation workflows for resourceprovisioning and configuration management. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines usingAzure DevOps and GitHub to streamline deployment processes and ensure continuousintegration and delivery.
• Optimization & Performance: Analyse and optimize Azure resources to enhanceperformance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Implement best practices for resourcemanagement and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure that Azure environments comply with security policies and regulatory requirements. Perform security assessments, implement best practices for dataprotection, and address vulnerabilities proactively.
• Documentation & Handover: Create and maintain a comprehensive inventory of allprovisioned projects, including detailed resource information and configurations. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly handed over to Platform Support Engineers for ongoing sustainment and operational activities.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and provide training to Platform Support Engineers and other team members to enhance their understanding of the projects and resources. Maintain clear and effective documentation for all provisioning and operational processes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and executives, to provide updates on project progress, technical issues, and solutions. Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging Azure technologies and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development of new tools and strategies to improve cloud operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Azure services, including advancedknowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure App Service Environments (ASE), Azure Functions and Web Apps, Azure Networking, Azure SQLDatabase, and Azure Active Directory. Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure provisioningand Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience: 3 - 8 years of experience in a technical role with a focus on cloud technologies,including at least 3 years working with Azure. Demonstrated experience in projectenablement, cloud solution design, and detailed documentation.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement complex cloudarchitectures. Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and GitHub for versioncontrol.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalentadvanced certification is required. Additional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: AzureDevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
