Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an Azure Linux Lead based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years in IT infrastructure, with expertise in Azure, Linux server administration, and team management.
This role involves designing cloud environments, troubleshooting Linux issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure efforts with business needs.
Role: Azure Linux Lead
Experience: 8 to 12 years

Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least several years in a technical lead or management role. Proven experience supervising large technical teams (e.g., guiding 10+ members) and delivering results in a complex, fast-paced environment.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP services, and architecture. Hands‑on experience with Azure IaaS (virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts) and familiarity with PaaS offerings. Ability to design and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security. Experience with administration tools, Ansible and automation.
Strong Linux Server administration skills. Linux & Cloud Administrator skilled in managing RedHat and Ubuntu environments, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and automation using Ansible. Responsibilities include installing and configuring Linux servers, troubleshooting boot and application issues, performing patch and vulnerability management, restoring corrupted file systems, and managing storage volumes. Proficient in cloud operations such as NSG configuration, load balancer setup, health probes, backend pool management, and resolving Linux issues on Azure and GCP. Strong in performance monitoring, backup troubleshooting, and disk management, including resizing and optimization.
Act as the primary technical liaison for the infrastructure domain. Work closely with cross‑functional teams including application development, network/security, and project management to align infrastructure efforts with business needs.
