Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an experienced Java developer to join our product delivery teams. You will design, develop, and optimize scalable applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Azure, while ensuring code quality and CI adherence.

You will collaborate with analysts and testers to deliver value, participate in acceptance testing with customers, and contribute to process improvements across projects. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Java/Springboot/Azure experience.
• Experience across Java/J2EE, Spring Framework including Spring Boot, SQL, Maven, Log4j and JUnit.
• Experience in designing, optimizing code for performance and reliability, and adhering to coding standards and CI.
• Ability to provide creative solutions to complex software/system challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality software.
• Independently develop, test, and debug applications of varying complexity.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified environments.
• Work with users to develop and run acceptance tests ensuring requirements are met.

Job Requirements

• 5 to 8 Years of experience using Java, Springboot, Azure.
• Experience in full software lifecycle development with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework (including Spring Boot), SQL, Maven, Log4j, and Junit.
• Experience with developing detailed designs, optimizing code for performance and reliability, conforming to coding standards and continuous integration
• Must be able to offer creative solutions to complex software/system challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience working directly with customers to discuss their requirements and objectives.

• Collaborate with business analysts, other developers, and test engineers on the team to produce high quality software that delivers business value and follows established design patterns and processes
• Independently develop, code or modify, test, and debug application programs of varying degrees of complexity
