Job summary

Qualifications

Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Mandatory)
Experience in Azure Data Engineering and Data Integration solutions
Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning, and Database Management
Experience with SSIS and Azure-based data ingestion frameworks
Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, Data Marts, and Dimensional Modeling
Experience in designing and supporting enterprise data pipelines
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Experience handling multiple projects and stakeholder engagements simultaneously

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data ingestion and integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and SQL Server
Translate business data requirements into scalable data engineering solutions
Build, customize, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading
Design and maintain data models, data marts, and enterprise data warehouse solutions
Develop data integration frameworks to consume and process data from multiple sources
Manage and support existing SQL Server and Azure-based data repositories and ingestion platforms
Ensure delivery of multiple data projects within scope, timelines, quality, and budgets
Collaborate with stakeholders, analytics teams, and data scientists to support reporting and AI use cases
Implement change requests and enhancements to data warehouses and platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure, SQL Server, Fabric, and data integration processes
Monitor progress, identify risks, mitigate delivery challenges
Facilitate team collaboration and remove blockers for smooth execution
Support production deployments and ongoing operational activities
Collaborate to ensure data quality, reliability, security, and governance

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer / Azure Fabric Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Mandatory), Azure Data Services, SQL Server, ETL Development, and Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data ingestion and integration solutions while delivering multiple data engineering projects across Azure and SQL Server environments.

The candidate should possess hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, modern data platforms, data transformation frameworks, and Azure-based data integration solutions. Experience in moving data to or consuming data from Kraken will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data ingestion and integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and SQL Server.
Understand business data requirements and translate them into scalable data engineering solutions.
Build, customize, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Design and maintain data models, data marts, and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Develop data integration frameworks to consume and process data from multiple sources.
Manage and support existing SQL Server and Azure-based data repositories and ingestion platforms.
Ensure successful delivery of multiple data engineering projects within defined scope, timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
Work closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and data scientists to support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
Implement change requests (CRs) and enhancements to existing data warehouses and data platforms.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to Azure, SQL Server, Fabric, and data integration processes.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively mitigate delivery challenges.
Facilitate team collaboration, remove delivery blockers, and ensure smooth project execution.
Support production deployments and ongoing operational activities for data engineering solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, reliability, security, and governance standards.
