Entry-level Azure DevOps / SRE trainee role for 2024-2026 freshers in Noida, June 2026 — structured training programme focused on Microsoft Azure cloud, Azure DevOps pipelines and reliability engineering at HCLTech. Hybrid Noida, fresher band INR 4.5-8 LPA (CTC band confirmed by the company at offer).

Responsibilities

Support and assist with Azure resource management using ARM templates and Bicep — the modern, Azure-native IaC stack — learning to provision and update resources reproducibly rather than through the portal. Work with Azure DevOps pipelines and the GitHub-to-Azure integration paths — build, test, release, environment promotion and approval gates — under the guidance of senior cloud engineers on real client work. Learn the basics of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) — pods, deployments, services, ingress and autoscaling — and how AKS clusters fit into HCLTech’s broader Microsoft-stack delivery for enterprise clients. Use Azure Monitor (with Log Analytics and Application Insights) to instrument applications and infrastructure — write your first queries in KQL, build a dashboard a real on-call engineer would use, and configure alerting that does not page on noise. Assist in incident-management activities and basic SRE practices — joining bridges in a learning capacity, capturing timelines, contributing to post-mortems, and gradually owning runbook updates and follow-up actions. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and the day-to-day cadence of an Agile delivery team that ships Microsoft-cloud workloads for global clients in banking, manufacturing, healthcare and telecom. Pick up working scripting in PowerShell, Bash and Python — the three languages a Microsoft-cloud DevOps engineer reaches for most often — and start replacing repeated manual work with small, reviewed scripts. Internalise the SRE mindset — reliability as a feature, error budgets, blameless post-mortems, automating toil — that increasingly defines the senior end of the Azure DevOps career path.

Requirements

2024-2026 graduates with a CS / IT / ECE background and basic cloud knowledge — the trainee programme is designed for freshers who are willing to specialise on the Microsoft Azure stack. Working comfort with Linux command line and Git, and at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Java, PowerShell or Bash all acceptable as a starting point).
