Job summary

Ascendion Engineering seeks a hands-on DevOps Engineer (AWS) to design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, implementing Terraform for IaC and building CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

You will deploy and operate containerized applications with ECS/EKS, set up monitoring and alerting, and ensure security and access governance across environments. This role suits candidates from product or AI-native startups with strong ownership in delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, ALB, ECS/EKS, ECR, S3 and IAM.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using ECS/EKS.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud security and access governance.
