Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Chennai. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, Azure services, and enforce engineering standards across projects.

The role requires collaboration with developers, testers, and operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. You will implement IaC, manage releases, and contribute to governance and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub Actions and YAML workflows.
• CI/CD design, implementation, and optimization.
• Release management and version control practices.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to handle daily DevOps requests.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control practices.
• Own release management, including build, deployment, artifact management, and environment configuration.
• Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources per project requirements.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Enforce and monitor Azure Policies to ensure compliance and standardization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Support migration initiatives, standardization efforts, and platform modernization activities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize workload and ensure timely delivery of DevOps tasks.
• Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and SOPs.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer who canwork effectively as part of a larger team to manage daily incoming requests andensure timely, high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsiblefor setting up, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing Azureservices, and enforcing engineering standards and policies across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaboratewith a larger cross-functional team (developers, architects, testers,operations) to handle and deliver on daily DevOps requests.
  
• Design,implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
  
• Managesource code repositories, branching strategies, and version control bestpractices (Azure Repos, Git).
  
• Ownrelease management, including build, deployment, artifact management, andenvironment configuration.
