Position Summary

We are building a dedicated Azure DevOps engineering team to support a Fortune 50 enterprise client through a large-scale digital transformation. This team will design, automate, and optimize Azure-based environments to enable secure, scalable, and efficient DevOps pipelines across the enterprise. As part of this high-impact initiative, you will contribute your expertise in Azure Cloud and DevOps practices while collaborating with architects, developers, and stakeholders across the client’s IT organization. Each team member will bring mid-to-senior-level strengths in core Azure DevOps engineering while also contributing in one or more complementary skill areas such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, containerization, or GitHub/AI-enhanced DevOps. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep, or JSON.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with scripting tools (PowerShell, Azure Automation).
• Support secure and scalable Azure environments, including containerized workloads (AKS, Docker).
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and operations teams to enable cloud-native delivery practices.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and enhance cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows.
• Engage with enterprise stakeholders to ensure DevOps practices align with governance and business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and the Azure DevOps ecosystem (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
• Mid-to-senior-level expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform, Bicep, JSON)
  • Automation scripting (PowerShell, Azure Automation)
  • CI/CD pipeline design, release management, and workflow optimization
  • Containerization/orchestration (AKS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with enterprise stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with GitHub Actions for automation and CI/CD workflows.
• Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise) for code generation, testing, and pipeline enhancements.
• Familiarity with LLM Ops, AI observability, or AI-powered DevOps practices.
