We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and delivering impactful data visualizations. You will leverage your expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Power BI to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, build data models, and create insightful dashboards that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using ADF for ETL/ELT processes.
• Ingest data from diverse sources into Azure Data Lake, SQL Database, and other cloud storage.
• Optimize pipeline performance, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Design and implement scalable data models for analytics and reporting.
• Leverage Azure services like Synapse and SQL Database for efficient data storage.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into compelling data visualizations.
• Implement row-level security and manage data refreshes within Power BI.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Business Analysts, etc.).
• Provide technical guidance on best practices for Azure data solutions.
• Automate data workflows and optimize for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with Azure SQL Database or Synapse.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, and data ingestion.
• Knowledge of DAX and Power Query within Power BI.
• Experience with Python, Databricks, or Spark is a plus.
