Job summary

Saxon Global is seeking a Data Engineer in India to design and maintain robust data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data quality and reliability across systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, and Azure Data Factory, plus strong SQL/PLSQL and ETL/ELT skills. Expect production support duties and technical documentation duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, and data transformation processes.
• Build and maintain data integration and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Work with Snowflake for data storage and processing.
• Develop data transformation models using dbt.
• Create and manage data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Work with SSIS for ETL processes.
• Support SSRS reporting solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and production jobs.
• Provide production support and resolve data-related incidents and issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for production issues.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
• Work with technical and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
