Job summary

Brillio is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead migration of Azure Synapse Analytics to Microsoft Fabric and to design modern data warehousing solutions. The role demands hands-on migration planning and strong SQL/T-SQL expertise across ADLS Gen2, CosmosDB, Databricks, and ETL pipelines.

The ideal candidate brings 10–18 years of data engineering experience, deep knowledge of governance, security, and performance tuning, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 10–18 years of experience in data architecture and Azure data platforms.
• Hands-on with migration planning, execution, validation and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of modern data warehousing and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end migration of Azure Synapse Analytics to Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop migration strategies including planning, execution, validation, cutover and post-migration optimization.
• Implement and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks and related ETL tech.
• Design, model, and maintain modern data warehousing with ADLS Gen2, CosmosDB and Blob storage.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune data integration and analytics during migration lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security and compliance.
• Utilize Purview and Azure Monitoring for governance, lineage, and observability.
