Job summary

Innominds Software is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and run scalable, secure Azure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will implement Terraform-based IaC, AKS orchestration, and robust monitoring to assure performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with Cloud Architects and Security Engineers to enforce policy-as-code, governance, and secure deployment practices, while mentoring juniors and promoting best DevOps practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 4 years in a Senior DevOps Engineer role with significant Microsoft Azure experience.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including networking (VNETs, Application Gateway), compute, identity, and monitoring.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A "You build it, you own it" mentality, with a passion for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cloud Architects and Security Engineers to ensure compliance with security and data protection standards, including policy-as-code and governance controls.
• Work closely with product engineering teams to design and implement application infrastructure that meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps and platform engineering best practices across the organisation.
• Embrace and promote the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity, documentation quality, and collaboration.
