Job summary

Black And White Business Solutions in India seeks an experienced Azure APIM Developer to design, develop, configure, secure, and manage APIs using Microsoft Azure API Management (APIM). The candidate will work closely with application, integration, DevOps, and security teams to build scalable and secure API solutions.

You will publish, monitor, and optimize APIs, implement policies for authentication, rate limiting, CORS, and gateway integration, and collaborate across departments to deliver

Qualifications

• Azure API Management (APIM) experience.
• API design, development, and security experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, publish, and manage RESTful APIs using Azure API Management.
• Configure APIs, products, subscriptions, policies, backends, named values, and version sets.
• Develop and maintain APIM policies for authentication, rate limiting, IP filtering, request/response transformation, header manipulation, caching, routing and backend selection.
• Integrate APIM with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, AKS, Azure Service Bus, and other backends.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, and certificates.
• Configure and manage custom domains, TLS/SSL certificates, CORS, and networking.
• Leverage Azure Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, VNet integration, and Application Gateway as needed.
• Implement API monitoring and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Automate APIM deployments using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, ARM/Bicep/Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage API versions, revisions, lifecycle, and developer portal configurations.
• Troubleshoot API performance, connectivity, authentication, and policy-related issues.
