Job summary

Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Azure AD Expert to lead and manage identity and access solutions in a remote-capable setup in India. The role emphasizes designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure AD environments for security, scalability, and seamless integration across enterprise applications.

You will provide technical leadership to a cloud and infrastructure team, own architecture decisions, and ensure governance, auditing readiness, and alignment with SLAs.

Qualifications

• Seasoned Azure AD professional with extensive design, implementation and optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to cloud and infrastructure engineers.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex issues.
• Review designs, architecture decisions and implementation plans.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Drive best practices for cloud operations, security and identity governance.
• Oversee administration of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Manage Identity and Access Management services: SSO, MFA, CA, RBAC, App Registration, Azure AD Connect.
• Oversee cloud security, monitoring, compliance, and governance controls.
• Guide hybrid cloud integration with on-premises environments.
• Lead offshore India-based team; conduct reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure SLAs, KPIs and operational commitments are met.
• Oversee Incident, Change, Problem and Request Management processes.

We are looking for a seasoned Azure Active Directory professional to lead and manage our identity and access solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure AD environments, ensuring security, scalability, and seamless integration across enterprise applications.

What You'll Do:

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of cloud and infrastructure engineers.


• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex operational and project-related issues.


• Review solution designs, architecture decisions, and implementation plans.


• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical incidents.


• Drive adoption of best practices for cloud operations, security, identity management, and infrastructure governance.


• Ensure technical standards, documentation, and operational procedures are maintained and followed.
  Cloud & Identity Services


• Lead the administration and support of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).


• Manage Identity and Access Management services, including:
  o SSO
  o MFA
  o Conditional Access
  o RBAC
  o Application Registration
  o Azure AD Connect


• Oversee cloud security, monitoring, compliance, and governance controls.


• Guide the team on hybrid cloud architecture and integration with on-premises environments.
  Team & Service Management


• Lead and mentor a predominantly offshore team based in India.


• Conduct technical reviews, coaching sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.


• Ensure delivery of services in accordance with SLAs, KPIs, and operational commitments.


• Oversee Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management processes.


• Drive service improvement initiatives and operational maturity.
  Stakeholder Management


• Act as the primary technical representative for client engagements and governance meetings.


• Provide recommendations on technology improvements, risk reduction, and operational efficiencies.


• Communicate technical risks, issues, and remediation plans to stakeholders and management.
  Automation & Continuous Improvement


• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational risk.


• Drive implementation of monitoring, reporting, and operational dashboards.


• Promote automation, self-healing capabilities, and proactive operations.
  Audit Support & Compliance


• Support internal and external audits covering Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, identity and access management, cloud security, monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, and operational controls.


• Coordinate timely responses to audit requests and provide accurate, complete, and traceable evidence, including system-generated reports, configurations, access reviews, logs, tickets, approvals, SOPs, and control records.


• Review audit observations for factual accuracy, clarify technical context, and support development of management responses and practical remediation plans.


• Own or coordinate remediation actions within the Cloud Infrastructure and Identity scope, ensuring clear ownership, target dates, progress tracking, validation, evidence retention, and timely closure.


• Conduct periodic control-readiness reviews, identify evidence or control gaps early, and drive corrective and preventive improvements to maintain audit readiness and prevent repeat findings.


• Work with auditors, risk and compliance teams, security teams, service management, and technical stakeholders during walkthroughs, evidence reviews, and finding-closure discussions.
