Job summary

Narayans Rreamedys is seeking a qualified professional to oversee end-to-end production of Ayurvedic medicines and herbal products. The role ensures adherence to classical texts, SOPs, AYUSH and GMP norms, while coordinating with production, procurement and store teams for material planning and batch scheduling.

You will monitor formulation accuracy, process controls, and overall production efficiency, supervise quality and documentation, and lead training for staff on GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a BAMS degree and be registered with relevant Ayurvedic medical council.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably with AYUSH/GMP standards.
• Strong documentation and leadership abilities are required.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end production activities of Ayurvedic formulations, medicines, and herbal products.
• Ensure manufacturing processes follow classical Ayurvedic texts, SOPs, and GMP norms.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and store teams for raw material planning and batch scheduling.
• Monitor formulation accuracy, process controls, and production efficiency.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure quality standards are maintained across all stages of manufacturing and patient-related services.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance systems as per AYUSH, GMP, and internal compliance standards.
• Review batch manufacturing records, quality reports, and deviation handling.
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.

Patient-Related Services

• Oversee quality and safety of patient-related services associated with the unit (if applicable).
• Ensure ethical Ayurvedic practices and correct therapeutic guidelines are followed.
• Guide and supervise therapists, medical staff, and support teams on treatment protocols.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation related to production, quality, and compliance.
• Prepare reports on production efficiency, quality deviations, and corrective actions.
• Assist management in continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Coordination

• Supervise and guide production and quality teams.
• Conduct training sessions on Ayurvedic practices, GMP standards, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with management for process optimization and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications
