Financial Research:
- Under our Financial Research vertical, we support reputable clients in the financial services industry including private and public markets investors, family offices, investment banks and others.
- The scope ranges from investment analysis, desktop due-diligence, financial modelling, valuation as well as ongoing analyst support for our buy-side clients and equity / credit research and corporate finance analyst support to our sell-side clients.

- Axience is looking for an experienced professional with unmatched execution and leadership abilities from third party KPOs or financial services / consulting / research agencies captives who can lead / co-lead research delivery across FR segments.
- Ideally such an individual will have background both in financial and business research however strong / demonstrable and progressive background in financial / investment research is absolutely required.
Delivery:
- Manage multiple ongoing client accounts and projects and underlying teams.
- Manage multiple ad-hoc projects and underlying team structure for our financial services clients ranging from equity / credit research, investment banking support, feasibility studies, investment evaluations to due diligence among others and / or strategic / market / business assessment for our corporate and family office clients.
- Lead and be responsible for pilots and successfully winning new client accounts, driven by an unmatched ownership, quality, execution and leadership abilities.
- Hold responsibility for ensuring quality of delivery for all / selected clients / projects.
- Be ultimately responsible for project planning and execution processes proposal preparation, client communication, project plan, team allocation, work review and finalization.
Hiring, Training and Development:
- Be responsible for supporting management and working alongside / guide HR / admin in effective, efficient and target hiring and enhancing Axience brand among talent and universities.
- Lead / co-lead training and development of underlying delivery teams.
- Define framework of minimum deliverables by team members and align hiring and training/development to such framework.
Strategy and Growth:
- Be responsible for select areas / vertical / themes pre-sales / business development P&L.
- Support / guide collateral development for business development and marketing related to delivery, thought leadership, whitepapers as well as pitches, emails templates, website and social media.
- Be directly / indirectly responsible for various pre-sales and BD activities, including managing small teams.
- While the position requires professionals with core experience in Financial Research, anyone that can also handle strategic research / market sizing / assessment aspects pertaining to investment / commercial due diligence mandates will be more preferred. However, Financial Research skillset is primary requirement.
Required Background and Characteristics:
- Advanced education from top tier institutions with top 10% academic performance in the class.
- This role requires professionals who have considered themselves top 5% in the industry and are judged as most dynamic, efficient, organized and skilled demonstrated by their growth and aspirations.
- Significant relevant and progressive work experience, both as an individual contributor as well as projects lead.
- Mixed experience in ad-hoc complex projects as well as ongoing relationship and an ability beyond managing / delivering simple research outsourcing engagement.
- Prior experience of working in KPO / investment banks / captive units of international investment banks / brokerage houses or management consulting.
- International exposure through travel or education is desired; professional wanting to move back / return to India might be suitable too.
- If you have taken GMAT an equivalent in past, then GMAT score of 700+ is required; else you will be required to take an aptitude test.
- The role requires top decile aptitude.
