Job summary

Infosys in Pune, India is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead end-to-end AWS-based solutions using Python, from design to production support.

You will architect secure, scalable cloud services, guide the team through code reviews, and ensure data consistency across PIM and DAM integrations.

You will establish standards, collaborate with stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and mentor engineers to raise delivery velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Strong AWS experience, cloud architecture and service integration.
• Experience with PIM/DAM enterprise platforms and data flows.
• Solid fundamentals: API design, data modeling, performance optimization, secure coding.

Responsibilities

• 7–9 years of overall experience in software engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Python development.
• Strong experience designing and building solutions on the AWS tech stack, including cloud architecture and service integration.
• Experience working with or integrating enterprise platforms such as PIM and/or DAM, including data flows and system interoperability.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: API design, data modeling, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BTECH, MTECH, MCA, or MSC (or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience building cloud-native architectures using microservices patterns and event-driven approaches on AWS.
• Strong exposure to CI/CD automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to enable repeatable, reliable deployments.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, influence architecture decisions, and align teams on implementation strategy.
• Experience implementing observability practices (monitoring, logging, tracing) and improving operational excellence.
• Prior ownership of integration-heavy programs involving PIM/DAM ecosystems, including performance tuning and data governance considerations.
