Job summary

AWS India - Karnataka is seeking Enterprise Solutions Architects to engage with top-tier Enterprise customers, understand business drivers, assess portfolios, and design reliable, cost-effective cloud-native architectures. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales and multiple AWS teams to accelerate AWS adoption.

The role blends technology and business, requiring breadth across infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, analytics, with deep expertise in at least 2–3 areas.

Qualifications

• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C# or C++.
• Experience with two or more of networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows).
• Strong ability to connect technology with measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
• Build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers using AWS.
• Share best-practice knowledge among the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Develop deep relationships with senior technical individuals to enable cloud advocacy.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering and support.
• Open to travel up to 25%.

We are hiring Enterprise Solutions Architects to work with top-tier Enterprise customers. The Solutions Architect engage with customers to understand their business drivers, assess application portfolios, design reliable and cost-effective cloud native architectures. As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers, AWS Sales and several other AWS teams to create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the intersection of technology and business. The Solutions Architect is a very technical role - you must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, analytics) and deep in at least 2-3 of those areas. On the business side, the ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect. The Solutions Architect will spend most of their day interacting with several customer stakeholders, including developers, team leads, engineering directors, and CxOs

• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
• Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution
• Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps
