Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. You will build scalable services, optimize performance, and ensure robust security in an AWS-based environment.

The role involves implementing infrastructure as code, automating deployments with CloudFormation or Terraform, writing unit and integration tests, and delivering well-documented code with SOLID principles.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, including strong proficiency with Spring Boot.
• Experience in designing and building REST APIs and microservices.
• Java 8 or newer; Hibernate/JPA experience.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services: EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway.
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and writing testable code.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito for unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Well versed in Core Java, OOPs concepts, SOLID principles, multithreading, and concurrency.

• Hands-on experience in Junit, Mockito, etc. for implementing unit testing.
