Job summary

Valuelabs in Hyderabad is seeking a security-focused Cloud Engineer to design and implement secure AWS infrastructure, manage IAM, encryption, and access controls, and monitor threats.

The role requires configuring network security, performing audits, patching, and collaborating with teams to enforce security standards, with emphasis on incident response and compliance evidence.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AWS Security Services (IAM, KMS, Security Groups, NACLs, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config).
• Experience implementing IAM policies, roles, and least-privilege access controls.
• Knowledge of network security concepts (VPNs, firewalls, SSL/TLS).
• Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and remediation processes.
• Understanding of security monitoring, incident detection, and response procedures.
• Experience implementing data protection and encryption for data at rest and in transit.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR or similar standards.
• Knowledge of secrets and certificate management practices.
• Experience conducting security reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
• Understanding backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity best practices.
