PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking an AWS Data Engineering Senior Associate to design and build scalable data pipelines using AWS technologies. You will work across client engagements to translate business needs into robust data architectures, guided by best practices in data governance and security.

The role emphasizes hands-on data engineering, mentoring juniors, and collaborating with global teams to deliver actionable insights and AI-enabled use cases.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) is required.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and building data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic for cloud-based data platforms.
• Developing AWS data solutions using Redshift, Textract, Comprehend, and PySpark to process client data.
• Translating business needs into scalable data architectures for analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled use cases.
• Optimizing data ingestion, storage, and query performance across distributed environments.
• Applying data modeling, validation, and quality checks to improve data consistency across source and target systems.
• Using Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud engineering tools to automate and orchestrate data workflows.
• Interpreting complex data requirements and breaking down technical challenges into deliverable workstreams.
• Reviewing technical deliverables from junior team members and guiding their development through feedback and coaching.
• Collaborating with client teams to gather requirements, address data issues, and adapt solutions as project needs evolve.
• Applying technical standards, security practices, and data governance principles across engineering activities.

As an AWS Data Engineering Senior Associate you will design and build data infrastructure and systems that support efficient data processing, integration, and transformation for client engagements within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and guide junior team members while developing your technical skills and personal brand. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will use AWS, Redshift, Textract, Comprehend, and PySpark to develop data pipelines, translate raw information into usable insights, and contribute to work that supports client decision‑making and business growth.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 5+ years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• Demonstrating AWS data engineering experience with Redshift and Pyspark
• Applying Textract and Comprehend for document extraction and text analysis
• Developing cloud data pipelines supporting client delivery workstreams
• Interpreting data to inform recommendations and technical decisions
• Mentoring junior team members while navigating complex project demands
