Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Mainframe Modernization Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS Transform Tooling to refactor legacy COBOL/JCL/DB2/VSAM workloads into cloud-native microservices and scalable workflows.

You will translate monolithic batch jobs, ensure functional equivalence, optimize performance, and collaborate with teams to modernize core applications using AWS services and Java-based components.

Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Modernization Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS Transform Tooling, focused on application refactoring and data migration from legacy mainframe systems to modern cloud-native architectures. The role requires strong expertise in mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS) along with exposure to AWS services and a working knowledge of Java-based applications.
