Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring for an AWS Migration Engineer to lead migration projects across PAN India. The role requires 8+ years of experience in AWS and on-prem architectures, with strong network design and security focus. Expect hands-on work with MGN, CMF, and cloud networking components.

The candidate should be proficient in EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, IAM and CloudWatch, with excellent analytical and communication skills. AWS certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform lift-and-shift migration of on-premises servers to AWS.
• Utilize AWS Migration Service (MGN) and Cloud Migration Factory (CMF).
• Design and configure networking components like VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.
• Implement load balancing solutions and configure DNS.
• Ensure security and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and optimize performance.
• Create and maintain migration documentation and post-migration support.

• 5. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• 6. AWS certification (Solution Architect or SysOps Administrator) is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Perform lift-and-shift migration of on-premises servers to AWS.
• 2. Utilize AWS Migration Service (MGN) and MGN orchestrator tool known as Cloud Migration Factory (CMF).
• 3. Design and configure networking components like VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.
• 4. Implement load balancing solutions, such as ALB, NLB and configure DNS.
• 5. Ensuring security and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.
• 6. Troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and provide performance optimization.
• 7. Create and maintain migration documentation, procedures and post migration support for application during the hyper care period.
