Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks. You will develop cloud-native solutions on AWS, create RESTful APIs, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires collaboration with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native apps.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and sprint planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web apps using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end tech.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native apps on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch).
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices with security and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, ensure high availability.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
• Follow Agile/Scrum, participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and design discussions.
• Strong understanding of AWS architecture, Java/J2EE, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and best practices.

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices following best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability of applications.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
