Job summary

Capgemini in Bengaluru is seeking a senior GoLang engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust solutions and ensure system reliability in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong experience with GoLang, AWS services, Docker and Kubernetes, and building REST APIs or gRPC.

Qualifications

• 6–11 years of engineering experience with GoLang.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; K8s orchestration preferred.
• Proficient in building REST APIs, gRPC or similar protocols; familiarity with Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance through reviews and testing.
• Participate in code refactoring to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot Docker/Kubernetes/Lambda issues in production.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of deployed systems through code reviews and testing.
• Participate in code refactoring exercises to improve overall quality of the application.
• Troubleshoot issues related to container orchestration (Docker), Kubernetes clusters (K8s), Lambda functions execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6-11 years of experience as an engineer with expertise in GoLang programming language.
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS etc. .
• Experience working with containerization technologies like Docker & Kubernetes; knowledge of orchestration tools like K8s preferred.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs using gRPC or other protocols; familiarity with message queuing systems like Kafka.
