Job Summary

Lead Developer role in a hybrid work model focusing on designing and delivering advanced data and computation solutions within bioinformatics using AWS Lambda Python and AWS Glue. The role requires six to ten years of experience and mandates strong domain expertise in bioinformatics to build secure scalable and efficient platforms that enable meaningful scientific and healthcare insights for global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design robust serverless solutions using AWS Lambda to support complex bioinformatics data processing workflows that ensure reliable performance and scalability for scientific analysis tasks.
• Develop efficient Python based applications and scripts that transform cleanse and standardize diverse bioinformatics datasets to improve data quality and downstream analytic accuracy.
• Architect data integration pipelines using AWS Glue that enable secure ingestion curation and cataloging of genomic proteomic and clinical data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Coordinate with cross functional research and product teams to translate bioinformatics requirements into well structured technical designs that align with organizational goals and regulatory expectations.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring logging and alerting for Lambda functions Glue jobs and Python services to enhance system observability reduce incidents and improve response times.
