Quadra invites an AWS Cloud Engineer to join the Infra & Migrations team at the Chennai Center of Excellence. This role focuses on architecting, delivering, and optimizing cloud migration initiatives that drive agility and modernization.

You will lead migration of legacy systems to AWS, implement scalable infrastructure, and ensure secure, cost-conscious deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client objectives and maintain operational resilience.

Formación

• 1–3 years of cloud engineering or infrastructure migrations experience.
• Experience supporting cloud migration, implementation, or administration in AWS environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.

The Opportunity

At Quadra, the AWS Cloud Engineer - Infra & Migrations role within our AWS SBU at the Chennai Center of Excellence is a strategic platform to architect, deliver, and optimize cloud migration initiatives that drive operational agility and business transformation. In this foundational position, you will directly influence enterprise scalability, enabling seamless transitions to AWS-native environments and modernizing legacy infrastructure. Your outcomes will accelerate digital modernization, reduce technical debt, and establish a resilient infrastructure backbone instrumental to both client and organizational success. By leveraging advanced networking and cloud migration expertise, you will be pivotal in shaping robust, future-ready solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions to maximize uptime and operational efficiency
• Lead migration of legacy systems to AWS environments, ensuring minimal disruption and robust post-migration reliability
• Drive optimization of cloud resource utilization and cost management, balancing performance with spend for measurable ROI
• Deliver secure cloud deployments by embedding industry-leading practices and governance controls at all migration stages
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between technical execution and client business objectives
• Document cloud architectures, migration workflows, and system configurations for knowledge continuity and audit readiness
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure service continuity
• Apply networking fundamentals to architect secure, high-performance, and scalable AWS solutions

Windows Server Administration: managing, configuring, and optimizing Windows Server environments within AWS

Monitoring and Troubleshooting: monitoring AWS environments and resolving operational issues using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, and native AWS diagnostics

Documentation and Technical Writing: producing clear, comprehensive technical documentation for architectures, workflows, and configurations

Good Communication: effective verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical collaboration

Team Work: collaborative approach to problem-solving and project delivery within cross-functional teams

Desirable/Preferred Skills

• Understanding of network security principles (security groups, NACLs)
