Job summary

Talentstack in Mumbai, a fast-growing education-focused fintech, seeks a Head Credit to lead credit strategy for consumer education loans. You will oversee portfolio analytics, policy, underwriting, and lead a 10+ person team to drive risk-aware growth.

This role combines hands-on credit excellence with team leadership, directing MSME and high-ticket loan initiatives up to 2–10 crs, while aligning with product and operations to scale the lending platform.

Qualifications

• Analytics exposure for portfolio analysis is required.
• Experience with retail loan policy.
• Experience with retail loan underwriting.
• Experience managing a team of 10+ members.
• Experience with MSME/high-ticket loans up to 2–10 crs.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio analytics and risk assessment for the loan book.
• Shape and implement retail loan policy and underwriting standards.
• Oversee underwriting workflows and quality control.
• Mentor and manage a team of 10+ credit professionals.
• Drive MSME and high-ticket loan initiatives up to 2–10 crs.
