Job summary

M&G India, the strategic innovation and digital hub for M&G, invites applications for a finance role based in Mumbai. You will review journal entries and reconciliations across cash, prepaid and accruals, coordinate with outsourced partners, and assist with monthly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.

You will apply accounting judgment, support project delivery, and ensure governance with a robust audit trail.

• Review journal entries and reconciliations for cash, prepaid, accruals.
• Coordinate with outsourced service providers to obtain transaction information.
• Review and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Lead monthly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
• Apply judgement to deliver outcomes, considering accounting requirements.
• Support delivery of projects – business requirements, testing and implementation.
• Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timelines are met.
• Ensure compliance and governance framework with audit trail.
• Demonstrate a proactive risk, compliance and control culture.
