Revantage Global Services India Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced in-house lawyer to review and negotiate engagement letters, service agreements, NDAs and other contracts. You will coordinate investment and governance matters, including board processes and liaise with external counsel on complex transactions.

The role requires 10+ years of legal experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable university.
• At least 10 years of hands-on legal experience, with 2+ years in a law firm or private practice.
• Ability to draft, review and negotiate contracts independently.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen and ethical mindset.

We know what it takes to lead an industry, and are looking for leaders who seek constant growth, want to excel, and continuously improve upon themselves and the industry.In addition to supporting Revantage, we also recruit for Blackstone Real Estate portfolio companies, giving you the unique opportunity to work within a network of best-in-class professionals across a broad real estate platform.IndiaWith offices in Bengaluru and Gurugram, our teams in India deliver expertise, innovation and operational excellence that support thousands of assets across logistics, data centers, residential, commercial and hospitality.Whether you’re building new capabilities, driving critical initiatives or strengthening partnerships, you’ll have the opportunity to truly Build What Matters.Responsibilities:PRIMARY ROLE• Legal Reviews:o Review and negotiate engagement letters, service agreements, works and consultancy contracts, NDAs, general commercial contracts etc., including coordinating input from and summarizing key legal issues to internal stakeholders.o Review corporate secretarial and funding documents of investment structures, including consideration of wider non-legal implications of the corporate actions based on review guide.o Assist with the coordination of Singapore investment committee meetings and board meetings relating to Blackstone real estate transactions, including liaising with external counsel and finalizing minutes.o Coordinate declarations by Blackstone sponsor / promoter group in REITs or IPOs.o Monitor and advise on complex governance protocol for JV transactions, acting as the main legal reviewer and escalate to Blackstone stakeholders where required o Work closely with the Revantage Asia Pacific business teams to provide legal advice on issues (e.g. tax, finance/accounting, employment, corporate and commercial) together with resolution plan o Track, monitor and safekeep commercial contracts and template legal documents.• Compliance:o Arrange compliance declarations for Revantage APAC employees.o Monitor Blackstone transactions involving material non-public information (MNPI), administer compliance controls for Revantage APAC, including maintaining tracker for MNPI insiders and segregating access rights to MNPI.• Legal Operations:o Maintain tracker and/or provide regular input on the key matrixes for reporting to Blackstone.o Assist in assessing work procedures, providing feedback/suggestions for improvements and implementing improvement process, where necessary.o Create and/or update standard operating procedures (SOP).o As needed, support Revantage APAC on special projects and other legal operations matters.o Undertake and contribute to the transition and quality service delivery of further scope migration from the Singapore and/or Sydney legal team to the GCC team.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS• Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable university (Second Upper Class honours and above).• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in the legal field, with a minimum of 2 years gained in a law firm or private practice.• Able to draft, review and negotiate contracts independently.• Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen and ethical mindset.• Able to act autonomously when appropriate and know when to escalate matters.• Able to engage confidently and effectively with stakeholders across seniorities, expertise and cultures.• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.• Well organized, able to prioritize tasks and meet tight timelines.• Motivated and driven to take responsibility for new projects and see them through to completion.Job Applicant Privacy NoticeEEO StatementThe Company is an equal opportunity employer.
