HSBC Holdings plc in India invites an experienced finance professional to join as Assistant Vice President, Finance COO Centre Of Excellence Business Manager. The role focuses on delivering cost performance insights, forecasting accuracy and cost structure optimization across regions.

The position requires strong financial analysis capabilities, governance experience, and proficiency with TM1, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior offshore collaboration is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Support regional COO with risk management controls monitoring and remediation.
• Simplify forecast, budgeting and FRP processes to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate CRE and other teams on BCP requirements for the COO function.
• Own regular reporting and service delivery tasks to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Improve cohesion of the Finance function across regions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President, Finance COO Centre Of Excellence Business Manager

In this role, you will:

• Delivering essential management information on the function’s cost performance as well as projections for the monthly forecast and annual planning cycles. Includes monthly Actuals reporting and month-end readiness activities such as accruals and invoice management, professional fees monitoring and adjustment journal preparation.
• Aligning FTE plans to the future organizational shape and impact of the strategic change agenda.
• Supporting the regional/functional COO in providing management information and data analysis on the function’s cost base, including key statistical data metrics on headcount movements, open positions, diversity, span of control and snapshot survey actions amongst others.
• Ownership of the implementation of the agreed and optimized cost management structure, including but not limited to cost center management and systems’ structures, and ownership of corrections to OSPD structures and cost re-classifications, if any
• Supporting the regional/functional COO in management and coordination of internal and external Third-Party Risk Management controls monitoring and remediation of gaps as required.
• Continuously look at ways to simplify the forecast, budgeting and FRP processes that help facilitate a more efficient Group forecasting process. Act as a ‘Catalyst for Change’.
• Supporting other logistical activities with CRE (Corporate Real Estate) and other teams, including owning the BCP requirements for the COO team and ensuring action across Finance.
• Ownership of regular reporting, delivery service or recharging tasks that are required to ensure expected operations continue as expected.
• The Business Manager role is essential to the improvement of the cohesion of the Finance function across the regions and other Finance areas.

To be successful, you will:

• An excellent level of financial management and business analysis experience requiring strong technical and commercial understanding of what drives the numbers reported.
• Proven relationship management and team engagement skills, with the ability to deal with all senior/junior levels within a global organization.
• Qualified Accountant is desirable (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
• Experience of running an annual planning process and experience in cost management and analytics would be an advantage.
• Excellent systems skills (including use of TM1, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
