Job summary

Credit Saison India is seeking an AVP – Compliance Monitoring to design and run a robust framework ensuring NBFC operations stay RBI-compliant. The role focuses on monitoring, testing, and remediation across RBI norms, KYC/AML, DLG, and outsourcing policies.

In this senior position, you will lead cross-functional collaboration with risk, operations and tech, drive CAPs, and report health dashboards to the CCO and senior management from the corporate office in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA (Finance) with 7–10 years NBFC compliance or internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of RBI Scale-Based Regulations (SBR) and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to influence cross-functional heads and drive remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and framework.
• Ensure strict RBI compliance including FPC, KYC/AML, DLG, outsourcing policies.
• Identify process gaps, issue CAPs to business heads, and track to resolution.
• Maintain tracking dashboards and provide regular compliance health reports to the CCO and Senior Management.
• Audit and monitor compliance for third-party vendors and FinTech partners.

Job Description: AVP –Compliance Monitoring

Position: AVP –Compliance Monitoring

Role Summary

The DVP – Compliance Monitoring will design and run the framework that tests, reviews, and ensures the NBFC’s business operations strictly adhere to RBI regulations for the Middle Layer (NBFC-ML).This role focuses on catching process gaps before they turn into regulatory failures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring & Testing: Design and execute the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan. Conduct regular sample testing and thematic reviews across Credit, Operations, Tech, and Collections.
• RBI Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines, including the Fair Practices Code (FPC), KYC/AML norms, Digital Lending Guidelines (DLG), and Outsourcing policies.
• Risk Remediation: Identify process gaps, issue Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to business heads, and track them until fully resolved.
• Reporting: Maintain tracking dashboards and provide regular compliance health reports to the CCO and Senior Management.
• Partnership Audits: Audit and monitor compliance for third-party vendors, FinTech partners, and co-lending alliances.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 7–10 years in NBFC Compliance or Internal Audit.
• Education: CA, or MBA (Finance).
• Core Skills: Strong understanding of RBI’s Scale-Based Regulations (SBR), excellent auditing skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional business heads.
