Job summary

Capgemini in Bengaluru is seeking an AUTOSAR BSW Diagnostics Developer with strong AUTOSAR 4.5 Classic Platform experience, Diagnostics, Failure Management, and NvM development for automotive ECUs. You will design, configure, integrate, and validate BSW modules, implement DEM/DCM, and support ECU bring-up with MISRA-C guidelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience with ADAS camera or radar product lines is a plus; a BS/MS in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.
• Prior experience in AUTOSAR BSW Diagnostics development is highly preferred.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ with exposure to MISRA-C guidelines.
• Experience with designing, configuring, integrating AUTOSAR BSW modules (DEM/DCM/NvM).

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, integrate, and maintain AUTOSAR BSW modules per AUTOSAR 4.5.
• Design and implement diagnostics using DEM and DCM.
• Develop Failure Management strategies including fault detection and DTC management.
• Configure NvM modules for persistent data storage.
• Support ECU bring-up, debugging, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with system architects and testing teams; participate in code reviews.

AUTOSAR BSW Diagnostics Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated AUTOSAR BSW Diagnostics Developer with strong expertise in AUTOSAR Classic Platform, Diagnostics, Failure Management, and NvM development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, and validating AUTOSAR Basic Software modules for automotive ECUs. Experience in ADAS Camera, Video, or Radar product lines is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, integrate, and maintain AUTOSAR BSW modules in compliance with AUTOSAR 4.5 standards.
• Design and implement diagnostics functionalities using DEM (Diagnostic Event Manager) and DCM (Diagnostic Communication Manager).
• Develop Failure Management strategies, including fault detection, debouncing, event reporting, and DTC management.
• Configure and develop NvM (NVRAM Manager) modules for persistent data storage and retrieval.
• Analyze and resolve software defects related to diagnostics, memory management, and communication stacks.
• Support ECU bring-up, integration, debugging, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with system architects, application developers, and testing teams to ensure software quality and compliance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to automotive standards and coding guidelines such as MISRA-C.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in AUTOSAR 4.5 Classic Platform.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Familiarity with automotive functional safety concepts (ISO 26262).
• Experience with debugging tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Lauterbach, or Trace32.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle in automotive projects.
