Job summary

Cell Propulsion Bengaluru is building advanced autonomous mobility solutions for commercial vehicles, powered by intelligent systems and clean technology. We seek an Autonomous Sensor Fusion Engineer to join our autonomy team and develop fusion algorithms that combine LiDAR, cameras, radar data for accurate perception and localization.

You will design sensor fusion pipelines, calibrate sensors, and collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate with the pod’s autonomous driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with sensor fusion techniques (Kalman filtering, particle filtering).
• Expertise with LIDAR, Radar, Camera, GPS, IMU.
• Familiarity with ROS, OpenCV, or robotics frameworks.
• Experience in real-time systems and embedded software development.

Responsibilities

• Select the sensors based on requirements.
• Optimize sensor performance and calibration to ensure reliability and precision.
• Design algorithms for sensor fusion and data integration.
• Develop systems for object detection, tracking, and classification using sensor data.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate sensor systems with autonomy algorithms.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure sensor fusion algorithms meets safety standards.
