Job summary

Evoke HR Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai seeks an Automotive Embedded Validation Engineer with 4–8 years of hands-on experience in ECU validation, CAPL/Python testing, and automotive protocols to drive project validation efforts.

You will automate tests, support HIL and ECU validation activities, and log defects in Jira while collaborating in weekly reviews and documentation tasks within a full-time role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in automotive embedded testing or validation.
• Hands-on experience with CAPL, Python, and CANoe.
• Good understanding of automotive communication protocols and diagnostic services.
• Knowledge of UDS, XCP, DoIP, SOME/IP, CAN FD, and LIN.
• Exposure to ADAS, Functional Safety, and Component HIL testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system and functional requirements from specifications and clarify technical queries with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop test cases based on system and functional requirements.
• Automate test cases using CAPL/Python and existing test libraries.
• Support Component HIL testing and ECU validation activities.
• Identify, log, and track defects in Jira and support retesting until issues are resolved.
• Participate in weekly project review meetings and provide testing status updates.
• Support project documentation and other validation process activities.
• Apply knowledge of low-level embedded systems concepts and automotive communication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in ECE, EEE, E&I, CSE, or a related engineering discipline.
