Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Chennai, India, is seeking a data validation professional with banking domain experience to drive migration projects. You will apply PySpark, Python, SQL and automation testing to validate data flows, reconcile source to target, and ensure regulatory compliance across trade surveillance.

You will collaborate with business, data and tech teams, perform data profiling, gap analysis, test planning, and sign-off activities through the migration lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in PySpark, Python, and SQL, along with expertise in Automation Testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience in data migration validation projects.
• Strong understanding of Trade Data, Surveillance Alert Validation, Data Reconciliation, and ETL processes.
• Extensive Automation Testing experience using Java, Cucumber, and API Automation Frameworks.
• Good knowledge of QA methodologies, testing life cycles, and Agile delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, validation, regression testing, and business sign-off activities throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Strong technical expertise in data profiling, gap analysis, source-to-target mapping, and data issue resolution.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and developing automation/testing scripts.
• Banking domain experience is mandatory, preferably with exposure to Trade Surveillance and Regulatory Compliance programs.
