Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Software Test Analyst I to join the Checkout Products team in Bengaluru. You will develop, maintain and upgrade test scripts for APIs and UI, and contribute to test planning and execution.

The role emphasizes automation testing with C#, Specflow, backend API testing, and collaboration with a global team to ensure quality and reliability across our payments platform.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated test scripting using C# and Specflow.
• Experience writing and executing API tests and validating responses.
• Ability to lead test activities and communicate risks clearly.
• Strong understanding of test case design and defect lifecycle.
• Payments domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
• Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security.
• Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
• Controls and manages own daily test activities.
• Provides internal quality assurance.
• Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
• Organizes and maintains the test script library.
