Job summary

Crew Kraftorz in Chennai is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for our cloud-based Healthcare Insurance SaaS platform.

You will automate UI, API, and integration tests, work with CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production in AWS/Azure environments.

5–6 years of hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JMeter; proficient in Java, Python, or C#, and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Proficient with UI and API automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, and Newman.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or C# and solid SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

Test Automation Engineer

Location - Chennai

Role Overview

Looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for our cloud-based Healthcare Insurance SaaS platform.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 to 6 years of experience in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools & frameworks:
  • UI: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
  • API: Postman, Newman
  • Performance: JMeter, Locust
• Proficiency in programming/scripting: Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, and test data management.
• Experience in cloud-based SaaS testing (AWS/Azure).

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework & Execution

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks (UI, API, Integration, Regression, Performance).
• Automate test cases for web, mobile, and API-driven SaaS modules.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Implement data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches.

Cloud & SaaS Testing

• Perform automation testing across Dev, QA, UAT, Staging, and Production environments in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Validate multi-tenant SaaS deployments ensuring data isolation, role-based access, scalability, and failover.
• Automate tests for microservices & APIs across distributed cloud systems.

Domain-Specific Testing

• Automate scenarios for Healthcare Insurance workflows:
  • Claims adjudication (EDI 837/835)
  • Enrollment & Eligibility
  • Billing & Payments
  • Provider/Member portals
• Validate interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10) where applicable.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to align test automation with release cycles.
• Build dashboards & reports for test coverage, automation health, and defect trends.
• Participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis.
