Summary

Detailed Description

Key Responsibilities

• Execute automated test suites across multi-tiered application environments and maintain test script integrity.
• Analyze test runs, perform root cause analysis (RCA) on failures, and log detailed defect reports for engineering teams.
• Manage, configure, and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs) and local/remote test environments to support continuous automation testing.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Technical Skills -Ability to run, modify, and troubleshoot/debug automated test scripts independently.

System & Environment -Familiarity with Virtual Machine (VM) environments and system landscapes required for test execution.

Preferred Tooling -Experience with Worksoft Certify is highly desirable (plus point).

Core Competencies -Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear technical communication, and problem-solving skills.

Core Competency Matrix

• Test Automation Execution: Proven capability to run daily test suites, monitor runs, and report health metrics.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Skilled in analyzing log files, stack traces, and system responses to pinpoint script errors versus application bugs.
• Infrastructure & VM Management: Hands-on experience working within virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V, Cloud VMs) and maintaining landscape pre‑requisites.

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

Overall experience should be 3+years of work experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience in software test automation.

Typical Education

Bachelors Degreeor consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
