Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on automation testing experience.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or TypeScript; write clean, maintainable code.
• Hands-on with Playwright or similar automation testing tools.
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and modern testing methodologies.

• Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation issues, and drive defect resolution.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of applications through effective test automation practices and continuous quality validation.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate and manage automation suites within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to support continuous integration, testing, and delivery initiatives.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation issues, and drive defect identification and resolution.
• Contribute to the enhancement of automation strategies, testing standards, and best practices across projects.
• Support test planning, estimation, and execution activities within Agile development environments.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers by sharing technical expertise and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in automation testing.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and efficient automation frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or TypeScript, with the ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright or similar automation testing tools.
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to analyze logs, identify root causes, and troubleshoot automation failures.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and testing methodologies.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of build and dependency management tools and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and related tools.
• Ability to identify automation challenges, assess risks, and implement effective solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders and influencing quality‑focused decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong documentation practices.
